Press release: real-time data analysis increases productivity
Get results during a running measurement with imc Inline FAMOS
Are the measurement results plausible? How can limit values be directly monitored on the test stand? How many load cycles have been carried out and what impact has the test object already experienced? Answers to these test and measurement questions are offered by imc Meßsysteme GmbH with real-time data analysis. Until now, incoming measurement data results could only be converted directly in the measurement device. Now we have the ability of live data analysis on the PC: imc Inline FAMOS.
During a running measurement, and across multiple devices, statistical analyses, mathematical calculations or complex evaluations, meaningful results can be achieved in real time. Subsequent analyses are eliminated or greatly reduced, which significantly increases productivity in everyday testing.
By using the full CPU performance of the PC, imc Inline FAMOS provides an impressive throughput - even with many measurement channels with many computational steps. Extensive analyses can be split into multiple processor cores and the performance can be easily scaled by selecting appropriate PC hardware.
For data analysis, a comprehensive collection of standard functions are offered: e.g., performance calculations, statistical analysis or mathematical functions.
In addition, special application areas are covered - such as order analysis, acoustical assessments, strain gauge rosette circuits, classifying algorithms for stress analysis, digital filtering or non-linear characteristics evaluations.
