Founded in 1979 in Otterfing near Munich, it has always been the company's goal to develop and produce mobile DAQ systems. In 1980, the first compact digital magnetic tape recorder (KMT16) was developed with integrated measuring amplifiers, filters and AD converters for mobile recording and playback of measurement data for 16 and 32 channels. These recorders were combined with telemetry systems for displaying individual measurement values online in the control room during test drives. Beginning in 1990, the first steps were taken in the development of particularly small telemetry systems for non-contact transmission of measurement values on rotating shafts and moving objects.
KMT offers a wide range of small data acquisition and telemetry systems for a wide variety of applications worldwide. KMT Messtechnik GmbH has been a strategic partner of the imc group since 2017. As a result, the integrated solutions offered by imc have been expanded to include single-channel telemetry systems for industrial applications, as well as multi-channel, high-speed telemetry systems for the railway and aerospace industries.
imc would like to congratulate KMT and wish them many more successful projects!
